Deacons – Bereavement Ministry Team

“Blessed are those who mourn for they shall be comforted.”  Matthew 5:4 ESV

The Bereavement Ministry Team serves to comfort those who mourn in many ways as God leads including:

• Ministering to those with terminal illnesses;
• Visiting families who are mourning at the time of their loved one’s passing;
• Offering to the family to provide a meal following the funeral or memorial service;
• Coordinating meal preparation with the Deacons and church family;
• Continuing contact with those mourning, comforting them as they walk through
  the season of grief.
