Deacons – Congregation Contact Ministry Team

“”And let us consider how to stir up one another in love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another…”  Hebrews 10:24-25 (ESV)

The Congregation Contact Team establishes and maintains contact with the members of the congregation who attend the church worship service(s). The intent is to strengthen the fellowship in and knowledge of the church.  The Team seeks further to prayerfully cultivate a non-intrusive, caring climate of information sharing, which may reveal the need for other Deacon Team ministries and create the opportunity for individual congregation member fellowship in and/or service to the Lord and His church.

Congregation member focus

Worship service, congregation members, who are not being served by other Deacon Ministry Teams, are the primary focus of this Team.  The general identity of this congregation member is one who is no longer considered a “New Member”.  Though all worship service attendees who are church members are to be served by this Team, primary focus will be the worship service attendees who are otherwise not involved or minimally involved in church fellowship and/or church service, including those who need a renewed commitment to or reclaimed by the church.
