“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation.  The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.” 2nd Corinthians 5:17 (EVS)

The New Member Ministry Team purpose is to attend to those guests who join the church during the Invitation.  The Team ensures photographs are taken, prepares and delivers new church member packets, and ensures the timely organization and scheduling of new member orientation classes and new member fellowships and socials.  The Team ensures the selection, publication, and distribution of age appropriate Church Library resources in New Member packets.  As part of the New Member Orientation Class, Team members serve as encouragers and mentors in the process of helping new members discover their spiritual gifts as the new member completes a spiritual gifts inventory/survey.  The Team is responsible for ensuring a complete and comprehensive ministry plan is in place including periodically reviewing and changing the plan to ensure it is effectively meeting the needs of new members and the church.
