The Worship Ministry of North Run Baptist

 

Fire in the Choir is a slogan coined by the national quartet convention which, I believe describes what is taking place in the Worship Choir here at North Run Baptist Church!   With each rehearsal, I strive to infuse the Word of the Lord, the testimony of His goodness through the lives of our choir members, and the power of praise.  We serve the throne of God when we sing with honesty and joy and we strive to grow in musicianship and strength.

  • The 180th Anniversary Musical Tribute
  • Fellowships and dinners together.

Come be part of the Fire in the Choir at North Run!  We would love to sing with 50 strong for the 180th anniversary Concert! Meet me in the choir room on Wednesday nights at 7:00!

 

Many thanks to the 60+ volunteers which made “The Thorn Easter Experience” such a powerful memory!  I believe we will see evidence of the spiritual seeds planted that day and watered by the care and concern of the family of North Run Baptist Church!

House of Praise (HOP) Worship Band is comprised of adults whose personal devotion to the Lord is evident.  This worship leading band brings fresh music to the services and special worship experiences.  Songs such as “I have a Hope”, “I Know Who I Am,” “Revelation Song,” “Mighty to Save,” “Only You” and many others help the congregation to bless the Lord in worship and to seek His great heart.

The Worship Choir is an active part of worship leading and seasonal outreach events.  Comprised of adults, the Worship choir sings songs of praise and testimony, contemporary and traditional.  You are welcome to become an active part of the Worship Choir.

Youth Ensemble leads in worship throughout the year and help to serve in so many vital ways.  Through drama and music, the Youth Ensemble reaches people at the annual Singing Christmas Tree and monthly worship.

Children’s choirs are vital to the families at North Run.  Weekly worship preparation and music education experiences are offered for children beginning at age 3.  The older children’s annual musical gives opportunity for growth and ministry to children ages 6-12.
