Worship Ministry

Worship the Lord with us at North Run Baptist Church and you’ll know of a people who love the Lord with all their heart and lift up spiritual songs of worship to our living and saving God!

Sunday morning worship is held in two locations at two different times and in multiple styles.

First Praise starts at 8:45 and is a very casual service with a Blue Grass feel and gospel songs.

The 11:00 o’clock service is fresh and energetic mix of choruses, hymns, stirring choir-lead worship, band and praise team.   We thank God for the many talented and committed people who serve the Lord with gladness through music.  This number is ever growing, so come and join us.

House of Praise (HOP) Worship Band is comprised of adults whose personal devotion to the Lord is evident.  This worship leading band brings fresh music to the services and special worship experiences.  Songs such as “I have a Hope”, “I Know Who I Am,” “Revelation Song,” “Mighty to Save,” “Only You” and many others help the congregation to bless the Lord in worship and to seek His great heart.

The Worship Choir is an active part of worship leading and seasonal outreach events.  Comprised of adults, the Worship choir sings songs of praise and testimony, contemporary and traditional.  You are welcome to become an active part of the Worship Choir.

Youth Ensemble leads in worship throughout the year and help to serve in so many vital ways.  Through drama and music, the Youth Ensemble reaches people at the annual Singing Christmas Tree and monthly worship.

Children’s choirs are vital to the families at North Run.  Weekly worship preparation and music education experiences are offered for children beginning at age 3.  The older children’s annual musical gives opportunity for growth and ministry to children ages 6-12.
